Audience: The course is intended for developers who need to create applications that interact with Acumatica ERP.

Training Description: This webinar is based on a set of examples of web integration scenarios that demonstrate the process of developing a client application that uses the contract-based REST API. The course gives you ideas about how to develop your own applications by using the contract-based REST API.

Training Syllabus: The program is covered over two days as follows:

  • Day 1: Creation of Records. Update of Records. In this session, you will learn how to create a new record in Acumatica ERP by using the contract-based REST API, how to create records with attributes, and also how to update an existing record and the detail lines of a document by using the contract-based REST API.
  • Day 2: Execution of Actions. Processing of Payments by Credit Cards. Attachment of Files and Notes. In this session, you will learn how to handle long-running operations, such as the releasing of the invoice, by using the contract-based REST API. You will also learn how to create a customer payment method in Acumatica ERP through the contractbased REST API. Moreover, you will learn how to add a note to a record and how to attach a file to a record through the contract-based REST API.

Partner Certification: This class is based on the materials of the I330 Data Manipulation with REST API course, which is part of the REST API Integration Developer badge. Completion of this class does not give you an automatic completion of the related course at Partner University; you will still need to complete the exam at Partner University.

Previously to being an Account manager, Samuel was a Technical Consultant in the dev support team and was helping partner and customer with their development issue, while taking most of the support case that had a link to the integration side of Acumatica.


You should be familiar with the financial and distribution functionality of Acumatica ERP, the basic principles of the system, and the principles of data retrieval with the Acumatica ERP integration interfaces. We recommend that you complete the I310 Data Retrieval with REST API Basics and I320 Advanced Data Retrieval with REST API training courses before you go through this course.

Advance Preparations: None. Attendees will have access to the virtual machine with the pre-installed Acumatica ERP cloud instance and tenant for training purposes.
