I am getting the below error while converting Purchase to Fixed Asset.

“Both Debit and Credit parts of transaction are not zero. Exiting with error.”

Hi @kapilc79,

If both debit and credit amounts are set simultaneously, either in base or transaction currency, the transaction is considered denormalized, and this error is thrown.

This ensures accounting data integrity — a financial transaction should either increase (debit) or decrease (credit) an account, not both. Otherwise, it could skew balances and reports.

Hope, it helps!
