when I create return with replacement and i completed after when i process shipment its not working why?

Can you explain the steps you are taking?

I open sales order and completed the process

i click on create receipt

after that confirm shipment and update in

and again come back to sales order and i click on create shipment and confirm shipment 

after that i click on update and final step process shipment i selected and choose the update option but it showing nothing

Please check the behavior of your Order Type. Also, what is the default operation?
