Can anyone Help in providing some insights on creating Sales Report  by Month , Quarter, Year  comparison with previous year  and MTD and YTD

Are you using this information to build forecasts? 

Currently No, Only need to have a Summarized / Details Report of Orders based on on mentioned Period Criteria

Did you get a response? I’m looking for something along those lines also.
