Sales History for Replenishment

Hi all,

I have a client going live on Acumatica soon, and who wants to start using replenishment demand forecast models from day 1. 

Are there any information out there on importing sales history that will impact the replenishment calculations without impacting inventory o financials?

Hi ​@JohnMichels, this will be very useful. 

 

The current client however does not have MRP / Inventory Planning. They only have the distribution edition. 

I did however fond a way, albeit slightly tedious, using a new order type that does not require invoicing and 0 cost transactions.

​@pjvanginkel83  Have you considered uploading item forecasts?  Forecasts can be used as a basis for replenishment and are easy to upload.  

On Forecast form, item or customer item forecasts can uploaded using standard Acumatica functionality.  Simple.
