How to implement restriction groups in GI?

We have set up Customers restrictions by salesperson. We need restrict sales data visibility to only assigned customers to each salesperson.

@nadiyahnatyuk58 Restriction Groups should be applied to any GI as long as the restricted entity (customer) is in relation and key fields being used. User who does not have the access to the customer will not see any record which has the customer.

Thank you, Sam, for your answer. From this I understand that the problem is with data source for the GIs. Majority of our GIs are built from SQL Server views, not tables. This is there we lose restriction groups. After I joined view with Customer table in GI, restrictions are in place.
