I think I am missing a step?  I am trying to set promotional pricing for specific customer for one product type.  I set up the promotional discount, linked added customer.  I also checked “specific to promotions” in SO preferences.

Make sure that items have the same Price class as specified on Item Price classes tab in Discount record.

Besides, verify if Manual checkbox is deselected for discount code on Discount codes form.

    Hello ​@melaniemascato62 ,I have replicated the same scenario in my local to set promotional pricing for specific customer for one item price class and successfully able to set discount in sales order.
