Object reference not set to an instance of an object when trying to correct a shipment

Hello,

This has happend to us twice in the past two months and need to figure out a resolution.   We have a shipment that has been confirmed and our shipping team realizes they need to make a change, they click the “Correct Shipment” and receive the following Error message as shown below: 
 

We are unable to correct the shipment and are now “stuck” and unable to fix the issue.    I have been unable to put my finger on any commanality between the two shipments this has happend to,  and I don’t see anything unique with this shipment that makes it stand out from other shipments we have been able to correct without error.
