When created a navigation in a GI it wants it to be an external url.

Is there a way to create a local path it will accept to a pdf with a specific file name?

\\server\data\files\((Shipment.Nbr)).pdf

The pdf files would be saved with the shipment number as the file name.

At this time, there is not a way for core acumatica to utilize local paths for linking files. This stems from the issues of updating the file paths and breaking links. What you are looking for is a solution that will allow for local storage, as opposed to using the database storage within Acumatica. There are a few 3rd party ISV that can provide a solution, but if you find a way to do it, keep me posted!

Hi @john25

Can you please elaborate the issue. You can attach the screenshot reflecting specific screen as well.

Second question seems to be not related to the first one. You may clarify.

Regards
