Hello,

Is there any way to not include the PO open order quantity in the available quantity on sales order ? For example, we have 2.28 CS of this item on hand, but the system shows 6.28 CS available because it included 4 CSs from open purchase orders that have not been received yet.

Thank you @Laura02 ,

I unchecked these, and it still includes the open PO QTY in the available QTY, although I removed the item and added it back to the sales order.

Hello,

Please Check the Availability Calculation Rules for this Stock Item/Item Class:

Hello,

We have one more step: Recalculate Inventory, at least for the Item Class whose Availability was changed.  From the help:

Hello @Laura02 ,

It solved the available QTY on the sales order screen, but I have to update the sales order form to show the available QTY for shipping under the “Avail” column . I had a hard time finding the field from available tables on the report design.

Do you know how to show the available QTY for shipping on the form?

Hi,

I think I see the field you need in your screenshot - QtyHardAvail.

I used Customize → Inspect Element, to see what Field, in what DAC is behind “Available Quantity for Shipping” in Inventory Summary screen:  it’s QtyHardAvail.
