How can we calculate Gross margin for the qty sold?

If you’re selling items via Sales Orders, take a look at the built-in Sales Profitability reports. Based on your comments above, I’d take a look at these two in particular:
- Sales Profitability by Item and Order
- Sales Profitability by Item Class and Item
