Error with creating shipment: Order does not contain any items planned for shipment

Hello! We are not able to create shipment with this error, I have read a couple related topic posted in community but still not able to solve this. Any ideas on where I should check and what I need to do to fix this issue? This is a shopify order type we are working with and trying to create. Thanks!

Hi! Thank you all for the comments. I think we have this fixed. The error occurs because the item is a drop-ship item linked to a PO. Once the PO receipt is released, the shipment is auto generated.

What is the ‘Requested On’ date for the line you are trying to ship?  The ‘Requested On’ date has to be on or before the ship date.  Note that this is for Shipping Rule: Backorder Allowed.  Different shipping rules will behave differently.

 

What is your Requested On date, Ship Date, and Shipping Rule?

Hi @josborn02 Shipping rule is set to Backorder allowed, requested on date is 10/24/2024 and ship date is 10/28/2024. Still the same error… Also tried setting requested date the same as ship date and still got the error. Thanks!

Two other quick things to check:

Check there are any sales order lines having Completed = false. If a sales order has all lines marked completed, it can't be shipped even if it has Open status

Make sure the warehouse on the Details line matches the warehouse seen in Line Details

Could you try to move the shipment date a day or two after the SO Requested On date.

We also use the manufacturing module, which can not always automatically allocate the line, however, it doesn’t look like you use the manufacturing module.

@jzhu  Delete the line and re add the LIne item.

or 

  1. Refresh the QTy and warehouse in the so Line.
  2. Try to create the shipment.
  3. Check if any alliocations are required,
  4. Report to Acumatica support if not resolved

Just curious, can you please share screenshot for the line Line Details? Also what is on the Shipment tab for that Sales order?
