Efficient way to assign lots of stock kit components?

When assembling stock kits using items that have lots assigned, is there a way to more efficiently do the lot assignment? Currently it seems like you have to go into the line details tab for every single item in the kit. We have some kits that may contain over 50 different items, all lot tracked. It is exceptionally tedious to have to click into line details for every single item to enter the lot.

I understand that Acumatica is designed so that you could use multiple lots for an item where you have multiples of the item in the kit, so you can’t have the lot assignment field on the main kit assembly page. There is also no upload button on this page for doing the assignment more efficiently in a spreadsheet and uploading.

@aimeep, as you mentioned, allowing multiple lots per item might be the reason why the Lot/Serial Nbr. field isn’t available directly in the grid, but I agree it would be helpful to streamline this process. Just to clarify, are you looking for an upload option via Excel?

I wrote a template flattener for a Sage 100 Manufacturing package client. The goal was one work order that may have included over 100 assemblies. This combined parts and labor costs based on quantity.

I'm wondering if something this in Acumatica would be usefull?
