Where in the access rights by user list will I find the option to disable certain user roles from being able to release sales orders and invoices from credit hold?

Hi @john25  Have you tried with Access Rights by Role screen ?

Here is the screenshot for your reference.

I hate to re-open this old thread, but in a Role I created copied from the SO Clerk role, I used the mapping showed above to Revoke both the Credit Hold and the Remove Credit Hold from my role and a user assigned that role can still both see and activate the Remove Credit Hold and proceed on with the order (Create Shipment).

What am I missing here?

Please navigate to the Sales Order Module and set the permissions for all modules.

Thanks for the quick reply but still can’t get this to work properly. I should clarify what I’m looking for: I need a parts order taker (like an SO Clerk) to have Insert access to sales orders but if a customer goes on credit hold, either completely hide the REMOVE CREDIT HOLD button or at least make it inactive for users with that custom role.

You had 6 screenshots although they were for an AR Clerk, so not sure if the Revoke level at the Sales Order top level was accurate or not.

I’ll attach output from Access Rights by Role and by Screen: can you see where I’m going wrong here?

Thanks in advance for any help or guidance you can provide!
