Can we have a “Business Account” that is not a customer or a vendor?  We have a need to have in Acumatica persons and companies related to our business but that are not customers or vendors. “Regulators” are an example.  Other examples are trade associations.  Can these types of person and companies be “Business Contacts” but not customers or vendors?

Hi Doug! You could leave these as unconverted business accounts (Prospects) and look at using an attribute to put your categories of regulators, trade associations, etc to be able to group and report on as an option. Then, if you ever did need to do financial transactions with them, they could be converted to a customer or vendor if needed, and they would still maintain their attribute information for differentiation.
