Our VAR, Cloud 9, sent a training video to us on Approval Maps. The training video showed many built-in Approval Map templates we can use. When I looked in our Acumatica 2021 R2 I do not see the Approval Map templates. Am I missing something? Or are the templates only in newer releases of Acumatica?

A new empty tenant comes with no Approval Maps set up, even in the latest version, 2022 R1.
Have you downloaded the Sales Demo from Acumatica? Sales Demo is a populated sample company tenant that can be downloaded (requires local installation of Acumatica, local installation of Acumatica can also be downloaded). Approvals can be exported from demo and imported to your tenant.
You can find many examples, perhaps even XML attachments by searching this form for ‘Approval Map’.
