I am in the process of trying to connect a SQL Server View to Acumatica. Right now I am on the “Create Code File” and there should be, in the drop down the ability to select lBqlTable but it does not exist. The only selections that are available are:New Graph, New DAC, Graph Extension, DAC Extension, Code File, and Customization Plug-in.

Canandian Localization How to

Hi, We are doing our first Canadian implementation. We have the Canada Localization enabled. They will be using GST taxes. However, are there any step by step guides on this. I have seen people referencing the VAT setup in open university but no instructions in running import scenarios for GST. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you,Frances

Access Rights - Generic Inquiry - Web API Endpoing

Hello,I have a Generic Inquiry that allows some parameters to be passed in. I hooked up a web API endpoint to the Generic Inquiry and it was working fine. But, I wanted to limit the privileges of the user so I created a new user.With the admin user I can call the API just fine and get a response but with the new user I created I can get a response but the details from the query are blank. I have logged in to the UI and the generic inquiry gives me results. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks,Andrew

Include Segmented Keys into Inquiry

Hi All, I am currently working on an Inquiry for a Dashboard where I need to group by a certain Segment.I did it once before with Inventory Subaccounts: Yet, now I am working with Projects and the Contract CD Field is segmented.I tried it this way, yet get the error that PMProject.ContractCD_Segment1 is not existing.Does anybody know how to properly incorporate the Segmented Keys here? If this helps, the Alias is referring to the CS.Segment Table

Pivot Tables get irreversibly bugged

Hello--I was wondering if anyone has been able to find the cause or solution to this issue:We have several (previously working) pivot tables that seemingly randomly get bugged/stuck and cycle through several issues:The filters do not populate any selection options (Example: Date Filter) The filter buttons do nothing at all when clicked The filter buttons go away entirely and are replaced with the text “inactive fields” This has happened multiple times across multiple modules/screens.The only solution I have found is to re-create the entire pivot table from scratch.Any ideas much appreciated

Authentication In Acumatica

I am having difficulty sending an authentication token in the headers while trying to populate fields in IN304000. I have obtained the token from the login API. However, when I set the token in the headers of the API to populate the fields in IN304000, I receive a "404 Not Found" error. Conversely, when I use the logout API and attempt to access the IN304000 API, I receive a "401 Unauthorized" error.

GI condition to display results timestamped within the past 6 hours

I’m trying to use the SOShipment.ConfirmedDateTime field as a condition in a GI to show all shipments that were confirmed within the past 6 hours. i.e. Between Now()-6hrs AND Now()Anyone know if this is possible?

Manufacturing Rework

Can someone suggest a good process for performing rework for a production order that is already in process.For example, they decide that some additional insulation needs to be added to a part in an opeation that has already been completed. This means that additional material and labor will need to be added and captured as rework material and labor.

Discontinued Item Replacement Recommendation

What is the best way to handle an item that is being discontinued but would like to cross reference to a different item for sales orders. Would “Related Items” be the only way to handle this or is there a difference way? Using Related Items doesn’t seem to work if the item is set to “inactive”. Thanks,Justin

UPS Carrier Labels failing to print when more than one package on shipment

We are attempting to print UPS Carrier Labels from the Process Shipments Screen using Device Hub. We have device hub configured and as long as there is one package on the shipment the label prints fine. When there are two or more packages requiring multiple labels it still appears to be processing correctly on the Print Job Screen and the device hub monitor but nothing prints. Any ideas on what could be causing this.

Is it possible to post a payment to a vendor without attaching it to a purchase order?

Hi,So, we have wired a payment to one of our overseas vendors and later cancelled the order. We are now left with a payment sent to a vendor that we want to use for future orders. Which brings me to my questions. Is it possible to just post a payment to a vendor and have it on account? And then at a later time apply it to a purchase order? I have previously tried creating a Quick Check to just post the payment and then trying to apply it to an open purchase order but the system wouldn’t allow it. Selecting Quick Check was not an option anywhere. I ended up voiding the quick check. Is there something that I’m missing in this process?Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance. 😊

E-Commerce-Acumatica SO with Payment Authorization (EBIZ) API Import with Avalara Tax Zone

Good day,Our E-Commerce developer is experiencing an failed SO with Payment Authorization on the API when the customer has the Avalara Tax Zone. (If the customer profile does not have the Avalara tax zone, the SO with Payment works fine; we need the customer profile to have the Avalara tax zone-not an option.). In a nutshell, the current API Calls/Puts are as follow:Customer Profile with contact is created with Avalara Tax Zone. (No issues) then the Sales Order with a Payment Authorization is created (Failed). Attached are pdfs of the issue JSON and Postman.My initial thoughts is the need to separate step 2 into two steps; Create SO (let Avalara do it’s initial tax calculation) and then add the payment authorization which would complete the transaction through the API. Any thoughts or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. (The developer believes i the Avalara tax zone that is causing the failure). If we separate out #2, do we need a new API endpoint for the payment authorizati

Standard POs vs Blanket

I’m looking to see if there are any updates to a standard type PO when I create a normal PO and associate them but it looks like nothing happens to the standard one. The only reference I see is on the normal PO. I was thinking it might keep track of qtys similar to a blanket but looks like a standard is just a template and can be either be open or close. Anyone have different thoughts?

Attribute not showing up on Project Attributes

i have a client who would like to add an attribute to projects, however, the project attribute screen doesn’t appear to show the newly created attribute.the goal is to set up the attribute to be able to select the specific employee leveraging the scheme object. We specified PX.Objects.CR.CREmployee with “AcctID” as the Scheme field so that we can select the correct employee but it doesn’t appear to show up on the Project attribute side/get this error:am i looking at this wrong? is there a way to create an attribute that would allow someone to select from the list of employees that in the system or would the selections need to be specified in some sort of drop down box?TIA!

Shipments - Zip Code Error

I’ve been getting this error because there seems to be some conflict with the City and Zip code. This is what the customer has and what we ship to when we have to go into Fedex ship manager and do this manually. Googling the towns zip it is off a number and this does say its another town. Either way this is the correct address, is there a way to bypass this error?

how to avoid getting duplicated sales orders into my custom screen?

Hi,I have customized a new screen. To my screen I’m getting data from soorder DAC and soline DAC. This time, I need to get sales orders without duplicating from the view to my custom screen. When new row is inserted into my line level, I need to update TotalDiscount field of header level with soorder.curydisctot value which is taken from the soorder screen header level. Handling of Partial Completions On Production Order

I am wondering how other folks might be handling the following scenario. We have a production order of 100 with 50 completed. We have an order of 10 being requested as an “emergency” order. In the past, we would just do a partial to put this into inventory and ship it out. However, what happens is this absorbs all of the cost onto the 10 then adds the other items in @ 0 cost. However, this causes a lot of cost issues. I am sure we can't be the only manufacturer that does this type of thing. I would love to know how others handle this.

Other than using the Request Profiler, (which I find only slightly better than useless), is there any other way to produce/create a list of the processes in Acumatica that are Long Running processes?If so, what is that method?Thank you,Jeff
