Guidance on how to identify entity naming conversions

Good day.

We’re having a bit of a struggle determining the naming of entities in order to extract the relevant information via api calls.

Example: We are trying to expand/extract the Ecommerce Data tab field “description”. Where exactly can we look to find the naming of this entity to expand?

Will appreciate any guidance.

Thank you

Hi @Alecia ,

To expand the fields and access through the endpoint, you need to extend the endpoint and add the fields on the stock item entity.

Refer to the below article,

Hello,

To identify the Data Class and Data Field, of any field you see on the screen, click Customization → Inspect Element, and then click on the field in question. Users in the Customizer role can see Customization → Inspect Element.

Customization, Inspect Element, click on the Description field (not field label)
