Hello Acumatica Community,

Starting in Acumatica 23r200 we plan to remove the 17.200 and 18.200 endpoints.

Please note that these are the last endpoints to support the SOAP API, so when it is removed integrations built using SOAP will no longer function..

We recommend updating solutions to use the latest endpoint, the REST API, and OData v4.

For more information see page 6 of the 23r2 Developer Release notes.

What does the removal of the WSDL endpoint mean for the mobile app? My understanding is that the mobile app uses data from the SOAP/WSDL endpoints for layout and data.

I asked this because in the Acumatica help it specifically refers to using the WSDL schema as a way of seeing what fields are available to the mobile app:

Are you saying this only affects SOAP API endpoints and does not affect the SOAP screen endpoints that are seen when clicking Tools>Web Service?

IE:

Yes, that is correct. SOAP screen endpoints are not going to be changes at this time.

Eventually those are going to be replaced with something else, but not is this version.
