We uploaded the latest version of our customization project and got back the following error, however nothing explains why the Project Name is invalid it publishes without issue on our instances.

Could someone point me to what could be wrong?

I don’t think _ is allowed in a project name.

It looks like this issue may be related to Pacejet authentication. I recommend first verifying that the Pacejet customization package by removing the special character and publish it again. Please ensure that the package is up to date and that all required authentication settings and credentials are configured correctly.

If the correct package is already published and the configuration appears to be correct, I recommend reaching out to the Pacejet support team to investigate the authentication issue further. They can help validate the connection between Acumatica and Pacejet, review the authentication settings, and identify whether any changes or additional configuration are required to resolve the issue.

This error is happening when we submitted the Customization Project to the ISV Program → Solution Submissions page, the error was returned by the review.

I am wrong the Pacejet team and this is a new customization we are attempting to submit for review.

The strange thing is it publishes okay in our instance but will try without that to see what happens.

ISV rules are not necessarily built based on what ‘works’. I believe using _ is also prohibited in the name of code elements. I’ve been doing it for about five years and never encountered any issues, but I’m not obtaining ISV certification 🤷🏼‍♂️

The failure occurs during project import, before publishing starts. My first diagnostic test would be to import the same package using PacejetIntegration252102, with the underscore removed. However, the log alone does not confirm that _ is the cause

@cmarshall74 Daryl's right. In the 2026 R1 code, ValidatePackageName (the method in your stack trace) only accepts letters, digits, periods, and square brackets, and the first character has to be a letter. The underscore is the only character in your name outside that set.

It also explains why it publishes fine on your instances. The check only runs when a project is created, which is what the ISV import does (your log shows "Create new project"). Publishing an existing project never calls it.

Drop the underscore (PacejetIntegration252102) and resubmit.
