Currently the Shipping Module when using integrated shipping creates the shipping labels in ZPL format. Many of our clients want the return label created by the shipment. Is there a way for the Shipping Module to create the Return Label in a PDF form?
I have the same need. When our partner submitted a ticket, Acumatica Support responded that Carrier Labels and Return Labels currently cannot have their format configured separately. I think that this is a significant oversight. It is a common business sceanrio to ship to an end consumer from a facility that prints their own shiping labels on thermal printers. So, generating outbound carrier labels in the ZPL format makes sense. Most of these same customers will need to accept returns, and as part of daily operations will need to provide a way for the end consumer to ship the product back. In that case, a PDF is necessary. The return label will need to be digitally delivered to the consumer to be applied to the box. Most recipients have no ability to print ZPL.
