Version 2021 R1

On the Tasks screen (CR306020), my customer would like to send an email to the owner of the Opportunity when a task is completed if the owner of the TASK is different than the owner of the Opportunity.

Is there an example somewhere of how to trigger an email from Visual Studio code?

I created a Notification Template.  I’d like to trigger the template from code.  I’d need to be able to supply the From and To fields.  I also want to provide a custom body for the email.

Is this possible?

If this is covered in Acumatica Training, I don’t know which lesson to do.  Please let me know if there is training available that I don’t see.
