How to modify the value of custom fields when the Sales Order status is closed or shipping?

Hi Experts,

I have some custom fields in Sales Order screen as below. I know we can’t update this Sales Order when the sales order status is shipping or closed. But I want to set a new value to these fields. I know I can update the confirmed shipment by the action “Correct Shipment”. Does Sales Order screen have any way to modify the fields when the status is shipping or closed?
