Custom Snapshot for SaaS setup

All,

We’re SaaS 24R2. I spun up a localhost to create a custom snapshot. I modified a snapshot here:

D:\Acumatica ERP\Files\App_Data\SnapshotConfigs

So far, so good. The plan is to create a local customization package that can piggyback this custom .esc file into our SaaS.

When I go to files, I can’t see my new .esc snapshot config. When I click Detect Modified Files, I see no new or modified files (I also modified a default .esc to see if modification would be detected).

I’ve saved the .esc as both ANSI and UTF-8, and have restarted Acumatica a few times.

Any idea of what I’m doing wrong? Is this even possible? Thanks! See screenshots. :)

​@swartzfeger  that’s strange. 

Normally if the file is added to the filesystem it should be visible in the list. I’ve double checked quickly and this works fine for me. Is this snapshot config available for you when creating snapshots on that site?

​@swartzfeger the ‘Detect Modified Files’ button is a bit misleading here. 

What you need to do instead is to click + and select the esc file from the list.

Sorry, I should have clarified -- I also tried adding via the ‘+’

None of the files in D:\Acumatica ERP\Files\App_Data\SnapshotConfigs appear in the list when I click +.

Thanks Dmitrii, I should’ve thought of that! I’m currently reinstalling via the wizard to have my full/live tenant loaded -- I will try your suggestion as soon as the new localhost is available.

So weird Dmitrii… I reinstalled Acumatica using my full live tenant data, loaded up a customization and voila! There are the snapshot configs!
