Custom Inquire error saving filter

I have a custom inquiry screen that everything is working well on except users cannot save a custom filter.  They receive this error message after hitting ok on the Filter Setting dialog.  Error: The view  doesn't exist. 

See the screenshot below. 

Is there some additional setup I need to do in my customization to support this feature?

Any ideas on this issue?  I have not been able to solve it.

 

The advanced filtering works as expected, users just cannot save the filter.  The receive the error noted in the original post when pressing OK on the Filter Setting dialog.
