Can side panel on Entry screen be expanded by default?

Hello,

        I add customer balance and credit limit through side panels on SO screen. Is there a way to set the side panel be expanded by default? I’d like to let the sales see customer balance directly.

HI Ray! While checking this functionality locally I don’t see anywhere to apply a setting like this to the side-panel using the out of the box configuration and no customization.

There isn’t a side panel menu like filters or pivots which could be accessed, but this could be the basis for an excellent feedback idea.
