Hi is there a method in acumatica where I can set the cursor to be defaulted to a specific field on a screen in Acumatica once the page is loaded?

I have investigated and found a link to this idea post but could not locate more information regarding this:

Thank you!

Hi @TharidhiP   In addition to Harish's comment, I believe Acumatica has this functionality by default.

For example, when you load the Sales Orders screen, the cursor is automatically focused on the Order Type field. I assume this is the behavior you're referring to.

If yes, you can achieve this by adding the additional property (i.e. DefaultControlID) in the .aspx page.

Below is the screenshot from Sales Orders .aspx page.

Hello @TharidhiP ,

You can customize the screen and use JavaScript/jQuery to achieve this. The article below will help you.

Thanks @Naveen Boga for the solution. This is also applicable for the grid as well right which would contain line details?

Hello @TharidhiP , I’ve run into a similar situation where I need to set the focus specifically on a grid cell. Did you manage to find a solution to this? The methods suggested in this post didn’t help me.
