We need to limit a user to just CRM. We do not want the user to get anywhere else in Acumatica. Is this possible?

Yes, this is certainly possible! You will just need to set up a role for that type of user and only grant that role access to the screens they need. Here is a link to another question about user permissions that had even more detailed requirements, but hopefully you can see what’s possible. I’ve set up some roles for extremely limited access.
Note, the user will also need the role assigned that you have set up as the “Access Role” for the tenant they need access to, in addition to the role that provides them access to the CRM.
