Trying to have cost populate on a project quote and keep getting 0. Where does the unit cost come from for each line item?
shouldnt it come from here? Or at least this is where we are expecting to get the Standard cost from.

I’ve searched the Help to find out where Acumatica draws the Unit Cost from for Stock Items on the Estimation tab of the Project Quote. Acumatica is not using the Valuation method of the items (in your case, Standard cost). It’s using Average Cost, and the average cost of your example item is $0:
