Is there ‘a movement in saving or <overrun>’ or similar column available for the project cost budget screen?
Or a column for Movement in Estimated Final Cost? This would = last cost at completion - cost at completion.

Assume there isn’t these fields out of box as I looked at the whole list in detail.
But would anybody suggest adding these columns into our customers Cost budget area as customisation would be difficult work and hard to support + maintain?

There is a “Variance Amount” field available, but that is a calculation of Revised Budget vs. Actual Costs.
Depending on how they are entering the Cost to Complete/Cost at Completion/Percent Complete, we do offer a Cost Projection Entry. That maintains a history of the related projections, and the current projected values are available within the Project/Cost Budget tab.
You can add columns, as mentioned above, but you may also look at a Side Panel within the Project Screen, which would show the overall Cost Projection results for the row highlighted, or if you create a Generic Inquiry with your calculations, that could be put into the Side Panel too.
