Is there a way to restrict access so that Project Managers can add projects and project tasks, but cannot change the status of the Task or Project to Complete? We want the project and tasks status to be changed only by accounting. I have tried to restrict this with the Access Rights by Role by changing the Project Management access to Insert for the Project and Project Tasks, but even after this change, it is still allowing them to change the project status. Thank you!

Hello
You could miss some options through which users may change Project/Project Task statuses. You should restrict users from the following:
- Project screen:
- Status field (header)
- Complete button (header)
- Status column (Project Tasks tab)
- Complete Tasks button (Project Tasks tab)
- Project Tasks screen:
- Status field (header)
- Complete button (header)
Also, restricting them, pay attention then on the fact that restricting these fields/buttons would not work if the prior level has ‘Inherited’ value. Please find below examples of these restrictions in the screenshots below.

Try to modify the Access Role and look for the Status Field, Basically the Role can add/delete but making the STATUS Field to View only thereby the user cannot change that certain field by way of access role, and also same scenario with project Task.
