Question

Microsoft teams integration - photo/drawing storage

Would it be possible to use a Microsoft Teams for large document storage.  For example photos and drawings. The documentation is vague about the Teams integration capabilities.  I don’t want to upload the photo to Acumatica and affect the storage limits.  The thought would be to create a file for each project in Teams.  Then upload the photos/drawings to Teams. I would like to be able to add a link to the file in the appropriate project in Acumatica.  Understanding of course that moving or renaming the file would break the link.

I think the answer here would be “Yes, but that has nothing to do with the Teams integration.”

Microsoft Teams storage is a SharePoint document library. This is capable of storing large files. You could generate links to folders or files and store the links in Acumatica, if that’s what you’re looking for.

They won’t appear as files in Acumatica.
