How to add project item to subcontract

Hi all,

 

I need some help to add the project to the subcontract

As you can see below. It shows an error 

 

I tried to figure out through the Project Task etc but not having much luck.

Any idea?

Another option I tried is adding the project directly to the line item.

 

However when I queries the Project, it shows ‘x’ instead. As seen below.

 

Any suggestion would be welcome.
