We are using Role Level Security to provide specific users with access to specific projects (Group Type A), which works. However, this configuration requires us to update the role level security with each job that is created. Is there a way to associate role level security with a employee workgroup, rather than an individual user?

We can’t connect Roles to a WorkGroup and we can’t use Row-Level security to connect Projects to Work Groups.
Restrict Employees functions on the projects will prohibit employees who are not listed on the Project Employees tab from entering Time, Project Transactions, and Activities for the project.
To connect Projects to WorkGroups would require some customization. Please consider adding your ideas to the Ideas section of Acumatica Community so we can vote for enhancements. Thank you.
