Hi Everyone,

Has anyone configured a tenant (CompanyId > 1) to be used as the parent tenant of other children tenants?

We are looking to see if we can publish from there so that Access Roles, GIs, etc. are immediately available for all tenants via CompanyMask field.

However in order to convert the tenant to a parent tenant, we have to make it not visible.

Has anyone faced a similar scenario? would love to hear how a similar process has worked for you.

Thank you all.

Hi @Fernando Amadoz

It seems that in Acumatica ERP Configuration Wizard > When creating a new Tenant (Company ID > 1) > Parent Tenant ID we can only choose the value 1 or NULL.

Best Regards,

@nhatnghetinh you would have to create at least 2 tenants:

The centralized tenant where the packages are published from.
and the actual tenant to be used for production data.

That would lead to Company IDs 2 and 3. And you will be able to assign Company 2 as parent of Company 3 in the Acumatica configuration wizard.

But my question is more oriented to potential ways in which the CompanyMask value from Company 2 could be reused in subsequent tenants created within the same instance. Thus providing access to Site map, GIs, roles, etc.

However, in order to be able to publish packages the parent tenant Company 2 would have to be visible.
