Unable to Launch Instance after Installation of build 25.101.0153

I am running Windows 10 Home,. I have installed sql server developer edition 2022 and sql server Management Studio 21.4.8

I am able to run through the installation process of Acumatica, set up the database and install a new instance of the application. However, when I try to launch the application from the Application Maintenance screen, I get the message “The system cannot find the file specified”. 

I have no issues with connecting to the database within SQL Server Management Studio.

Using Chatgpt I have validated all ISS settings. The only potential issue i can see is that windows 10 Home does not support windows authentication and this appears to be required. Do i need to upgrade to windows Pro ?

Any ideas would be welcome.

Home edition will not work. 

We’ve tried couple of workarounds and even were able to install Acumatica, but in the long run, it introduced tricky issues, which biten us 2-3 months later.

    I'm running R25.1 on Windows 10 Pro with MySQL as the DB. Configuring IIS was a pain.
