I recently got Microsoft Surface Laptop. I planned to install Acumatica local but then i started to see error messages when installing SQL server. I found that the process Snapdragon(R) X 10-core X1P64100 @ 3.40 GHz   3.42 GHz is not compatible to install SQL server.

Any suggestion or alternate way to install Acumatica and SQL?

SQL Server isn't supported on ARM-based processors like the Snapdragon — it requires x64 architecture, and while Windows 11 ARM can emulate some x64 applications, it doesn't work for low-level services like the SQL Server database engine. IMO the most stable approach would more than likely be hosting SQL Server on a cloud VM (like Azure or AWS) or another x64 machine on the network, and then connecting to it from the Surface. You can also use Azure SQL Database if you want a fully cloud-native solution, (I looked into using Docker with SQL Server on Linux ARM, but that’s more experimental and not officially supported by Acumatica.)  Long story short — Acumatica itself can run fine on ARM-based Windows (like the Surface), but SQL Server can’t, so a remote or cloud-based SQL instance is the way to go.

@ZionSaluja  @CherryStreet is correct i wanted to buy a new laptop with Snapdragon but the fact it could not run SQL server becuase it is an ARM based processer was a showstopper for me. There are some posts suggesting there is a workaround but i was not convinced
