Teams Integration Unable to Login

I’m trying to set up the Teams plugin, however, when I get to the point of signing in in the user settings and click sign in, a popup displays says that login was successful, then the user tab refreshes, without ever connecting to Teams (as evident by the lack of connection elsewhere.) I’ve attached a video of trying to login below. Is there some step we missed that might be leading to this problem?

I never even knew that Connected Applications needed to be set up. Is there a guide for that? I didn’t see it in the tutorial I did.

I’ve gone through the setup guide twice and nowhere does it say to go to System Management → Connected Applications (or Integration settings depending on version) and create a new connected application.  

Should that be happening in the background?  Is the lack of a teams connected application mean I have improperly setup either the Azure or Acumatica portions in the guide?
