Setting up stock item counts view access only, for branches a user does not have access

Hi All,

 

I want to give stock item count (Inventory summary) view only access for users (Storekeepers).

A storekeeper has access to his branch only, but he should be able to see stock summary of other branches and warehouses.

 

Is there a way to do this without giving branch access?

Please give your ideas/suggestions to setup this…

Currently, functionality does not exist to allow users to see data from branches that they do not have access to.

There is an existing product idea similar to this that can be voted on.

      ​@mohammadnawaz51 can you explain me the process. Because once you restrict the access for branch and warehouse, cannot see the inventory summary of those branch warehouses.

        Hi ​@mohammadnawaz51,

        You can try with create a GI with require data and provide access to the user based on his permissions. Possibly filter the GI based on current user branch. Hope this helps.
