Hi All

I have a question about PCS to SaaS migration.

My scenario is this:

I have a PCS deployment of Acumatica in which I have multiple tenants. One specific tenant would like to move out of my instance and have their own SaaS instance. They do not use any customizations. They would basically like to pick up where they left off from the PCS environment to continue operations in the new SaaS environment.

My Question is:

Can I take a full snapshot of their tenant and provide that to Acumatica to create the new SaaS environment or will they need the actual SQL DB to have it done?

Thanks in advance

Amit

Hi, depending on the size of the tenant, it may or may not be possible. If the size allows it, you can even do it without Acumatica. Once you have the URL from Acumatica you can create a snapshot and and restore it. If you need to transfer the DB, make sure to get a quote from Acumatica first because maybe there are some fees associated with transferring the DB.

Hi @Eric Ratté thanks for reaching out. According to the ‘Space Usage’ screen the tenant takes up 4.41GB of space.

Once this can allow for a snapshot restore, it takes a load off my shoulders because I would have to delete all my other tenant data and just leave the one that needs to be imported into the new SaaS environment if the DB is required.

Thanks
