Hello,
We currently have Acumatica set up as a single company with multiple branches. We are looking to limit certain employees to a singular branch. I’ve set it so when they log into their account, it is set to their branch but they can change it easily. I’d like to set it so once it is set to their branch, that’s their home. Please help.

I apologize, I’m not seeing a place to assign or unassign the branches. Do I have to create groups or anything prior to doing that?
Right, you need to create a new user role and then assign to the branch as the access role. You will then need to assign this role to the users that needs access to the branch.

It sounds like you’ve already set the default branch field on the users screen.
To limit users to a specific branch, you will need to assign them permissions to their appropriate branch through the branch user role which can be assigned an unassigned on the user screen. In this case, you will want to unassign the inappropriate branches.

Thanks! That makes sense now. Once I start implementing it, will it limit everyone from changing? Just so I can figure out the best way of implementing this.

Folks will not have visibility to the branch unless assigned this role. Including the admin account.
