Inventory Item Access Row Level Security and the Customer Portal

​@brucewarrell96 The customer portal in Acumatica does not support true row-level security out of the box. Users can generally see all records related to their assigned customer.

​@brucewarrell96   By default, Acumatica ERP does not provide true row-level security within the Customer Portal. However, it does support role-based access control, which determines what screens and features a user can access.

In the Customer Portal, each user is typically associated with a specific Customer or Contact record. Because of this relationship, the system automatically restricts visibility so that users can only view documents and transactions related to their assigned customer account.
