HI All

When we try to click Send/Receive All in the Email Accounts screen, we are receiving the following error:

Error:
The mail receive has failed.
Exception of type 'PX.Common.IO.LineSizeExceededException' was thrown.

The customer has verified and confirmed that the emails are being received in their original mailbox, but they are not syncing into Acumatica.

As part of the troubleshooting, I also increased the file upload size in the system preferences, but the issue still persists.

Could you please assist

@VeeraA Should be large volume of email coming out from the email to Acumatica, please check if any spam emails are holding up!

Hey Veera,

I believe I have seen something like this happen before, it may be an email in their inbox that exceeds perhaps the subject line max character count, or maybe something else.
One thing you can do to isolate which email it is, is to do the following:

  1. Create a custom folder in Outlook
  2. Change the root folder in the Email Account record in Acumatica to the new custom folder you created in step 1
  3. Move emails into the custom root folder in batches (10/20/30 at a time, whatever you prefer)
  4. After each batch, click “Receive” on the email account in Acumatica, if doing this in batches it should sync the first batch immediately, if it does not then that first batch has the email that is causing issues within it
  5. If the first batch syncs properly, continue to move the next batch, so on and so forth, until you find a batch that includes the email causing issues
  6. Once the email is isolated and has been found, move all email back into the inbox except for the one causing the issues, and change the root folder in Acumatica back to inbox
  7. Analyze the email causing the issue outside of the inbox to determine if the length of subject line or something else is causing an issue
