Creating New Tenants

Newbie here….

When managing tenants, the training material says to make sure all users are logged out.  However, does this apply to situations like creating a new Tenant and using existing backups,  I would not be managing any tenants where users are logged in.  I would be creating a new one and using an existing backup.

Hope this makes sense.

Hi @u043,

It is recommended to perform this activity by putting the Acumatica instance in Maintainance mode.

Once the snapshot is created on the instance OR once you created a new tenant with the existing data backup, users will be logged out.

Below is the article that has explained step by step process of creating a backup and creating a new tenant with the details.

Hope this helps!!
