I am struggling to find how to give a role access to add vendors to stock items, What node/nodes do I need to add insert rights to?

Stock Items has a ‘Vendor’ node and an ‘Inventory Item Vendor Details’ node.
You need to set rights on the second one:

First, make sure the user/role has insert access to the stock items screen. Acumatica does not allow access to be increased at lower levels (ie. View Only access or Edit access to the Stock Items screen, then Insert or Delete access for one of the fields within the Stock Items screen). Here is the help documentation on this if needed.

The user has Delete access on Inventory → Stock Items and Insert on Inventory → Stock Items → Vendors

If that is the case, check Access Rights by User to see if there are conflicting roles for this user.

If I can impose further - how do you track down this node? Or, is it a matter of ‘knowing’? I spent hours looking before I asked for help.
+15Honestly, neither. I looked for Vendors and saw there was two. You mentioned trying the one. I just tried the other 🙂
