Hi everyone! I’m Valentina Diaz, and I’ve been part of the Acumatica Field Services team for about seven years. I’m originally from Venezuela, spent a couple of years in Mexico, and now I call Canada home. My background is in mechanical engineering, but I found my passion in the software world—focusing on business analysis and helping shape tools that make life easier for service companies.
At Acumatica, I work closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams to design and refine features in Service Management. I also handle some customer support cases, which helps me stay connected to real challenges that partners and customers face. What I enjoy most about my role is the mix of technical problem-solving and understanding business needs, making sure our solutions truly support service companies in their day-to-day work.
These days I live in Montreal, a city I love—especially in the summer when the festivals bring so much music and energy (the Jazz Festival is my favorite!). Outside of work, I enjoy biking, yoga, cooking, and spending time with my dog, Chicharo. I’m also really passionate about learning languages and exploring new cultures—it’s something that’s stayed with me wherever I’ve lived.
