Not receiving new post notifications?

I noticed I am not getting notified when there are new topics/posts to the communities I am subscribed to, even though I have that option selected in my settings. I get notified for replies, but not new posts. I unsubscribed and resubscribed hoping that would fix it but no luck. Is there a tip I am missing?

Hi ​@kvinson - I just received the below from Gainsight support:

Our engineers have fixed the issue. Could you please check with the user and let us know if everything is okay now?

Hi ​@kvinson - You will want to make sure they aren’t getting sent to a junk/spam/promotional folder. If you’re still not seeing notifications for as new post in a subscribed forum category, then it needs to go to Gainsight support. For that, I’ll need an example of a post (including URL) that you didn’t get a notification on despite being subscribed to that forum category. Cheers!

This is one I did not receive and I have checked my spam - it was not in there. (Could it be because they are not using the JAMIS tags?)

No, tags have no bearing on subscriptions. They are only used to search content. I’ll forward to Gainsight support. To set expectations, it could be a few days for response.

Hello Chris,
 
I've checked the logs and everything appears to be in order on our end. Could you please ask the user to open the most recent new topic notification email?
 
Our system is designed to stop sending these notifications if a user hasn't opened the last one. Opening the email should resolve the issue.

I went through my deleted items and opened every Acumatica Community email I have going back to 12/19/2024. None of them were for a new topic, only for replies, but I clicked each link anyway. If there was an email alert sometime between 10/2024 (when I joined) and 12/19/2024, it is gone now.

Did you receive a notification for the private message I sent you a day ago?

I did not. I see it now that I have logged in but I did not receive an emailed notification.

I did notice, though, that it says I have 1 out of 3 messages unread, but there are only two messages in my inbox and I have opened both of them.

I’ll let you know if I am notified the next time a new post is made in the Jamis community. I do see I have a test private message from 10 days ago that I did not receive a notification for, and my inbox now says I have 4 messages but I can still only see three.
