Greetings, Acumatica Community! I’m Laura Barber.
I am so excited to have earned 3 consecutive MVP awards for my volunteer work in the Community. It has been my great pleasure to assist others by posting ideas and answers as a way of “giving back” to the ERP industry, where I’ve spent my entire career.
The call center of Solomon Software is where I started many years ago. After leaving Solomon Software, I worked for eight different Partner organizations. For the first 20 years I mostly worked in technical support, later transitioning to implementations and training. Acumatica entered my life in 2013.
In January 2025, I started a new position at Acumatica in the Client Services Department.
The best part of my job is encouraging beginners and helping them understand their new accounting systems. I also love migrating historical data.
On weekends, I enjoy outdoor athletics. I recently completed a 10k with my running friends. In addition to active pursuits, I like puzzles (jigsaw and crossword), reading mysteries, and attending rock concerts with my husband, Jim.

See you in the Community! 😎
