Hello! My name is Aasha, pronounced (AH-shah). I joined the Acumatica community in 2020 when our mid-size construction company switched from being on QuickBooks for almost 20 years to Acumatica. I have learned so much about cloud-based applications ever since and what a world it is! My primary role is accounting/finance driven and has quickly become heavily IT/SAAS oriented. I’ve been with my current company for 8.5 years and have witnessed and been a part of so much growth and technology advancements. I am excited for years to come as our business continues to grow and the challenges it brings. I’ve met some wonderful individuals through our Acumatica partner and also by attending Acumatica Summit. It’s a great time to collaborate with other professionals, learn some new tricks, see what’s coming down the pipeline, and of course having some fun away from the everyday grind 😊
I reside in the Kansas City area. Outside of my professional role, you’ll find me spending time with my young son! We love to go for walks, explore parks around the city, and build/create things. I find solace with a good book or music and relaxing at the pool or in the bath! I have a knack for baking sweet treats. After a few batches of cookies, all I have to do is bring it in the office where they are quickly consumed! I have a passion for kindness and prioritizing mental health. I find it satisfying to create uses of technology to help ease our burden of task saturations. We all need support and kindness in our lives. It’s a pleasure to provide insight to construction companies thinking of making the switch to Acumatica and to continually learn through this community.
