We’re excited to announce a fresh new experience for job aids! We’ve heard from customers and partners how valuable they are, and so we went ahead and reimaged a new format – while keeping the well-known and appreciated editable files as well.

As part of our vision of unified, engaging, personalized education, we have created interactive, step-by-step visual guides that walk you through tasks in a clean, intuitive format. Whether you’re completing a process for the first time or just need a quick refresher, these upgraded job aids are designed to help you get through your work faster and with more confidence.

Here’s what’s new:

  • A screen-by-screen walkthrough
  • Each step includes a clear screenshot, so you know exactly what to do
  • Switch between pager or scroller mode depending on how you like to view steps
  • Optimized for desktop, tablet, and phone devices— can be used on a device on hand

These job aids are built to support you right in the moment of need. No training required. Just open, follow, and go.

You can find updated view of the job aids on the Job Aids page at Open University.

We’d love to hear what you think!
Tried one of the new job aids? Please take 2 minutes to complete our quick survey  — let us know the new format is working for you and what features or improvements you'd like to see in future job aids. Your feedback helps us make them even better.

@Elena Abilova Will others be added in this format soon? I’m only seeing Automated Warehouse as an option.

@kristybrooks83 thank you for your question.

Eventually, we will have more job aids in the current or updated format. We are currently gathering feedback on what is good/bad about new format, so that we could understand if the new job aids work for our users. If you have something to say, please fill in the survey available on the job aids page.

While I like the new format option, most organizations are using the Word version so that they can modify the document for their specific requirements.
